富贵须行乐及身，人生奄忽若飙尘。
一朝尘复归黄土，无酒无歌始识贫。
注：○富贵句：《汉书·杨恽传》：“人生行乐耳，须富贵何时。”○奄忽若飙尘：《古诗十九首》其四：“人生寄一世，奄忽若飙尘。”
Ah, make the most of what we yet may spend,
Before we too into the Dust descend;
Dust into Dust, and under Dust to lie,
Sans Wine, sans Song, sans Singer, and—sans End.
