仙人来日尚迢遥，犹及韶年未尽凋。
乞把平生重付与，眼前罪悔一时销。
注：○迢遥：远貌。颜延之《秋胡诗》：“迢遥行人远，婉转年运徂。”○佳年也。唐德宗《中和节日宴百僚赐诗》：“韶年启仲序，初吉谐良辰。”○原文云：“祈天使展翼之来也，犹有馀时，得掩此运命之卷。使彼至严之书吏重笔之，或则尽削之。”译文以吾邦之辞韵写之，而其意宛然。
Would but some wingéd Angel ere too late
Arrest the yet unfolded Roll of Fate,
And make the stern Recorder otherwise
Enregister, or quite obliterate!
