娲皇泥土予吾人，还以精金铸圣身。
此事凭谁相约束？
世间妄意总非真。
注：○原文云：“彼付者泥滓也，而索者精金也。为彼所造者何无奈耶！吾人固未尝贷也，何偿为？此贸易之最堪悲者哉！”译文缓其激切，不以渎圣也。
What! from his helpless Creature be repaid
Pure Gold for what he lent him dross-allay'd—
Sue for a Debt he never did contract,
And cannot answer——Oh the sorry trade!
